Get a Des Moines Event Video Quote (650) 918-9201Events are unrepeatable, which makes them the least forgiving job in video. Des Moines event video production at Tone Films is planned like a live broadcast: a run-of-show reviewed with your producer, camera positions walked the day before, redundant audio feeds from the house board, and an editor on site cutting the recap while the keynote is still on stage.
We cover conferences at the Iowa Events Center and Hy-Vee Hall, galas at the Des Moines Art Center and the downtown hotels, product launches in West Des Moines, alumni weekends and commencements at Drake, DMACC, and Iowa State, and sports and partner activations at Principal Park, Wells Fargo Arena, and Drake Stadium. Every Des Moines event video production package is scoped around what you need the footage to do afterward — sell next year’s tickets, brief the board, or feed six months of social.
Multi-camera keynotes and breakouts, speaker capture with slides, attendee interviews, and a sizzle for next year’s registration page.
Multi-cam switched streams to Zoom, YouTube, Vimeo, or your platform, with graphics, lower thirds, remote presenters, and broadcast-quality audio.
A 60-second recap edited on site and delivered before attendees leave the building, plus vertical clips for Instagram and LinkedIn that night.
Cinematic coverage of the room, honoree films played in the program, and a donor-facing highlight film for the follow-up campaign.
Reveal moments captured from multiple angles, demo station B-roll, executive soundbites, and a press-ready edit within 24 hours.
University events across Drake University, Iowa State, DMACC, Grand View University, and Simpson College, delivered for admissions, advancement, and alumni channels. See Des Moines corporate video.
Des Moines event video production goes faster when the crew has shot the room before. These are venues where we know the power, the AV vendor, the house rules, and the best camera positions.
Event venues in Des Moines each carry their own rules. Convention-center work at the Iowa Events Center and Hy-Vee Hall runs through the Iowa Events Center event services team, exterior and street coverage needs permits from the City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation permit office, Sports & Entertainment, and hotel ballrooms usually require you to work with the in-house AV vendor for audio feeds and rigging.
We handle those conversations before the event week, so on the day the crew is shooting instead of negotiating. That is the difference between Des Moines event video production that captures the moment and coverage that spends the keynote hunting for a clean audio feed. Our crews carry redundant recorders on every camera and every audio channel; if the house board drops, the footage does not.
We review your agenda, identify the moments that matter, and agree on deliverables: stream, recap, highlight film, speaker edits, or all four.
Camera positions, power, audio feeds, lighting, and streaming bandwidth confirmed with the venue and AV vendor. Permits filed if needed.
Multi-camera crew, live switching where required, an on-site editor for same-day recaps, and a producer coordinating with your team in real time.
Speaker sessions, highlight film, and social cutdowns delivered on a schedule agreed in advance — recap same day, full package within one to two weeks.
Event budgets scale with crew size and hours on site. A single-camera half-day starts around $3,500; a multi-camera conference with live streaming and a same-day recap runs $12,000 to $40,000. Every quote is itemized and fixed-fee, with overtime terms stated up front.

Switched multi-cam livestream, graphics, remote presenters, on-site editor for same-day recaps, and a complete post package.

Yes. An on-site editor cuts a 60-second recap during the event and delivers it before attendees leave, with vertical social versions that night. It is the most requested deliverable in our Des Moines event video production packages.
