It is expected from a vendor of high quality to have a platform where they share their work so that customers evaluate. If you like their work, and you believe that their style fits what you are looking for, then you can move to the second step which is to check their reviews.

Every professional and high standards videographer, or company, would have a certain number of reviews. It is important to look and see what other people have said about that certain vendor. Often, when you buy a product, you look at the number of reviews, and how high they are rated. For example, if there are ten vendors and one of them has fifty reviews more than the other ones, and all those reviews are five-star, then you should probably consider going with that vendor, and don’t be afraid to spend that extra dollar! It doesn’t hurt to check other vendors at all, but you do risk to not have the best quality, and high standards.

If you tell the videographer that you would like to have your wedding recorded in a certain way, and you would like to have certain music in the background, and a certain vibe, and the videographers says that he would much rather do it a different way, then you should consider a different vendor.
